crushed pineapple with juice

evaporated milk

unsalted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla, and entire can of pineapple with juice. Mix until combined.
Pour batter into baking dish and bake 35–40 minutes, until golden and set.
Meanwhile, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and butter in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil for 2–3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Poke holes in hot cake, then pour glaze over top.
Let sit 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm or chilled. Store leftovers in the fridge. Add coconut flakes or pecans for texture.
